Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.
What we've done
- Readable text sizes and high-contrast color combinations
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Clear page headings and a consistent layout on every page
- Form fields with visible labels and plain-language error messages
- Buttons and links large enough to tap on mobile devices
- Pages that resize and reflow for phones, tablets and zoomed screens
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our site regularly, and some content, such as photos or documents from third parties, may not yet fully meet our standard. If something isn't working for you, we want to know.
